About the Role
Lead revenue optimisation across a complex healthcare environment, shape health fund strategy, and negotiate high-value contracts within a value-based, caring organisation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the revenue cycle function to ensure optimal reimbursement for patient care.
- Manage health fund contracts and negotiations.
- Review fees and identify opportunities for revenue improvement.
- Collaborate with executive, clinical, and operational leaders to embed contract requirements.
- Build strong relationships with health funds and other payers.
- Lead health fund audit activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue cycle performance.
Requirements
- Experienced healthcare commercial or revenue leader with strong knowledge of the Australian healthcare funding environment.
- Commercially astute and highly analytical.
- Confident negotiating complex contracts.
- Proficient in interpreting financial data.
- Skilled in influencing senior stakeholders.
- Significant experience in healthcare revenue, payer relations, contracting, or a similar role.
- Strong contract negotiation and commercial management skills.
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical capability.
- Sound knowledge of the Australian healthcare funding and regulatory environment.
- Experience developing RFPs and managing complex contractual arrangements.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Proven experience leading teams and driving improvement.
- Successful candidates will be required to complete a range of pre-employment checks and assessments.
