About the Role
Join our clinic and strengthen our management team as Head of Technology and Construction. This is a permanent, full-time position starting as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for technical infrastructure, operational, and medical technology, including professional and disciplinary leadership of all technical employees.
- Responsibility for planning and execution of new construction projects.
- Ensuring the continuous operational readiness of all technical systems (e.g., power supply, ventilation and air conditioning, medical gases, water supply); planning, controlling, and monitoring maintenance, inspection, and repair measures (in-house and external companies).
- Compliance with all legal regulations, fire safety requirements, DIN standards, and occupational safety and environmental regulations.
- Coordination of planning and execution of renovation and maintenance measures.
- Central interface function with clinic management, architectural and engineering firms, authorities, and internal departments, as well as cross-site collaboration with our clinics.
- Management and responsibility for technical budgets, including budget planning and control for maintenance, servicing, energy supply, as well as new construction and replacement investments.
- Conception, implementation, and monitoring of measures for optimizing energy management, as well as further development of sustainable and digital building technologies (e.g., CAFM systems).
Requirements
- Completed technical degree or comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in managing a construction and technology department, preferably in the hospital or healthcare sector.
- Knowledge of relevant legal regulations in the field of hospital operational technology.
- Technical understanding, analytical expertise, entrepreneurial thinking, and a structured and reliable way of working.
