About the Role
Two exciting opportunities exist for Assistant Development Managers to join the Masterplanned Communities Development team, supporting Everdene & Mulgoa and Kinlea. This role offers the chance to build a development career within a collaborative team, gaining broad exposure across the development lifecycle and contributing to project delivery while developing commercial, stakeholder, and development capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of development projects against agreed strategies, targets, budgets, and project outcomes.
- Assist with development feasibilities, project budgets, programmes, reporting, and project documentation.
- Undertake project research, planning, and preparation to support informed decision-making.
- Assist with development applications, approvals, and other key project documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external stakeholders, and project partners.
- Support stakeholder management planning and engagement across the development lifecycle.
- Maintain an understanding of market conditions, project risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate across Mirvac teams to support project and broader business objectives.
- Contribute to Mirvac’s innovation, sustainability, safety, risk, and compliance objectives.
- Take ownership of professional development, building knowledge and experience across the development industry.
Requirements
- 2–4 years’ experience within the property development industry.
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications.
- Solid commercial, financial, and legal acumen.
- A strong understanding of property development principles and processes.
- Good project management and Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Sound decision-making, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- A proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and a genuine desire to grow development expertise.
