About the Role

Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for all People Operations topics in your designated area and serve as a reliable point of contact for employees and managers.
- Manage central administrative processes throughout the employee lifecycle, including contracts, certificates, absence management, and visa processes.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly payroll and collaborate with the external payroll provider for accurate and timely processing.
- Play an active role in the transition to SAP HCM, supporting data quality, process design, testing, and documentation from a People Operations perspective.
- Ensure new processes are integrated into daily operations by sharing knowledge, supporting the team, and facilitating a smooth transition without losing sight of day-to-day business.
- Critically evaluate existing processes, identify simplification opportunities, and implement pragmatic and sustainable solutions.
- Stay informed about changes in labor law and People Operations best practices, deriving clear action items for bonial.
- Support office days and on-site appointments, such as onboarding and signing appointments.
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience in People Operations, HR administration, or a comparable generalist HR role.
- Understanding of data quality, reliable processes, and smooth daily operations, and how they interact.
- Ability to work independently, take responsibility, and bring structure and a high standard of quality to tasks.
- Hands-on, solution-oriented approach with a passion for shaping changes collaboratively.
- Confident communication with diverse stakeholders, maintaining composure and constructiveness even with complex issues.
- Proficient German language skills (min. C1) and good English language skills (min. B2).
- Sound and current knowledge of German labor law and practical experience in preparatory payroll.
- Ideally, experience with HR system implementation, process migration, or a comparable transformation project.
- Experience with SAP HCM is a significant advantage.
