About the Role

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to own the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) development for HENNGE One, our cloud-security suite. You will empower product development teams to build, ship, and run applications securely and efficiently using cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes and AWS.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Internal Developer Platform (IDP) using Kubernetes and AWS services.
Contribute to technical discussions to define the architecture, roadmap, and future direction of the IDP.
Collaborate with product development teams to onboard their products onto the IDP.
Participate actively in code reviews, discussions, and technical decision-making.

Requirements

3 years of experience working with production Kubernetes on cloud, preferably AWS EKS.
3 years of experience building and managing AWS infrastructure with Terraform.
Hands-on experience with ArgoCD and Kustomize and authoring/deploying Helm charts.
Experience building and maintaining web application pipelines using GitHub Actions.
Ability to take technical initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Fluency in English (equivalent to CEFR B2 level or above, e.g., TOEIC 785+).
Conversational Japanese to coordinate with external vendors, cross-functional divisions, and local communities.

Salary/Compensations

8 to 10.5 million JPY (includes English Allowance and Physical Communication Bonus)
