About the Role
Triangle Fastener Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our Sales Team in Milwaukee, WI. You will be the first point of contact for customer inquiries, playing a vital role in ensuring a smooth sales experience. This role supports both individual customers and the Outside Sales team by managing quotes, orders, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate customer quotes via phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
- Handle walk-in sales and guide customers through product selections.
- Enter and process orders with precision and speed.
- Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure stock levels meet demand.
- Coordinate delivery schedules and provide updates to customers.
- Support the Outside Sales team by managing backend processes and customer follow-ups.
- Maintain a clean and professional showroom and promote featured products.
- Address and resolve customer issues proactively and professionally.
- Prepare and send product samples, catalogs, and credit applications.
- Review open sales reports and ensure data integrity.
- Pull counter orders as needed to ensure timely customer service.
- Work closely with the Branch Operations Manager and other sales staff daily.
Requirements
- 1+ year in sales-based customer service or related position
- High School Diploma or GED
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite/365
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to learn and operate company software, including CSD
- Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering on promises
- Keen sales acumen
