About the Role

Experienced, professional, and discreet Housekeeper sought for a private residence in Knightsbridge, London. This role involves maintaining exceptionally high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organization within the household.

Responsibilities

• Full cleaning and upkeep of private rooms and communal areas to an exceptionally high standard.
• Correct care of delicate and high-value surfaces, including marble, limestone and wood.
• Wardrobe and closet management, including laundry care, garment labelling and organisation.
• Laundry, ironing and pressing, including delicate and high-value fabrics, hand washing and basic hand sewing.
• Packing and unpacking for the Principals and guests.
• Table setting and service support as required.
• Basic breakfast preparation.
• Grocery shopping and household errands.
• Monitoring household inventory, including stock levels, expiry dates and food freshness.
• Care and maintenance of indoor plants and flowers.
• Feeding and washing the family dog.
• Recording and logging dry-cleaning and other outgoing items.
• Supporting the wider household team with other reasonable duties as required.

Requirements

• Proven housekeeping experience within a high-end private residence, luxury hotel or yacht.
• Excellent wardrobe and closet management skills, including packing and unpacking for Principals.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning products and their appropriate use on delicate surfaces.
• Confident use of washing and drying machines and professional pressing equipment.
• Good knowledge of plant and floral care.
• Comfortable working around pets.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high personal standards.
• Good spoken English.
• Full right to work in the UK.

Skills

• Basic machine sewing skills desirable but not essential.
