About the Role

As a Staff Software Engineer, you’ll be a hands-on technology leader responsible for shaping the technical direction of our platforms while continuing to build and deliver quality software. You’ll work across the full software development lifecycle, partnering closely with engineers, product leaders and stakeholders to create secure, scalable and resilient solutions that deliver real value for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development and delivery of scalable, secure and reliable software solutions
  • Drive technical excellence through solution design, architecture decisions and engineering best practice
  • Mentor and coach engineers, helping to build a strong engineering culture and capability across the team
  • Partner with Product Owners, Crew Tech Leads and stakeholders to balance customer outcomes, technology strategy and delivery priorities
  • Champion DevSecOps, full-cycle ownership and automation across the software development lifecycle
  • Explore emerging technologies and innovative approaches that improve customer experiences and engineering efficiency

Requirements

  • Extensive software engineering experience building enterprise applications using .NET, .NET Core, C#, REST APIs and microservices
  • Strong cloud engineering capability and experience delivering solutions on AWS
  • Experience developing modern web applications using Angular, React or similar front-end frameworks
  • Understand software architecture patterns, event-driven systems and distributed application design
  • Worked with CI/CD pipelines, containerisation technologies and observability tooling
  • Demonstrate a passion for technical leadership, mentoring and driving engineering standards
  • Thrive in Agile environments and enjoy solving complex business and technology challenges
  • Continuously seek opportunities to learn, innovate and improve the way teams deliver value
