About the Role
NDRI-USA is seeking a motivated and collaborative Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join an NIH/NIDA-funded project focused on overdose prevention. This role offers training in research methods and opportunities for publications within an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews and synthesize relevant scientific research
- Draft manuscripts, conference abstracts, and presentations
- Collect, organize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative research data
- Assist with preliminary and ongoing data analysis and interpretation
- Participate in interdisciplinary research activities
- Contribute to a collaborative research environment
- Perform other research-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in public health, behavioral science, social and behavioral sciences, or a related field; advanced doctoral students nearing degree completion will also be considered
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research, analytical, organizational, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative research team
- Ability and willingness to work on site at various locations throughout New York City
