Responsibilities
- Own the technical ownership of deals from first conversation through onboarding.
- Partner with Account Executives to qualify leads and run discovery.
- Demonstrate how the platform solves customer problems through evaluations.
- Operate as a security and resilience architect.
- Conduct discovery and qualification to understand genuine business impact.
- Design and execute proofs of value for technical criteria tied to business needs.
- Own the technical relationship and drive technical wins.
- Ensure a smooth handoff to the onboarding team.
- Represent customer technical realities to internal Product and SE teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Architect in security, cloud, infrastructure, or resilience/backup and recovery.
- Proven track record of owning the technical aspects of enterprise deals end-to-end.
- Deep understanding of cloud environments and modern infrastructure, including failure and recovery modes.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and cloud posture is a strong plus.
- Ability to connect technical proof points to business outcomes like risk and cost reduction, and revenue protection.
- Clear and credible communication skills for both technical and executive audiences.
- Judgment to be firm on critical issues while maintaining a collaborative approach.
- Base in or strong familiarity with the East territory.
- Ability to travel as needed.
