About the Role

As a core member of our Banking team, you will work closely with external clients and internal stakeholders to minimize operational risks and ensure seamless delivery across banking services. You will be a commercially-minded relationship manager with strong banking/custody product knowledge, comfortable operating at the intersection of client service, sales, and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Developing new business relationships and enhancing the profitability of the existing customer base.
  • Proactively ensuring the delivery of clients’ Service Level Agreements and facilitating the prompt resolution of client issues.
  • Developing and maintaining strong business relationships with clients.
  • Carrying out Client Need Analysis for new and existing clients.
  • Designing bespoke service solutions and resolving macro issues to ensure client needs are satisfied.
  • Partnering with internal project managers on the delivery of project plans.
  • Cross-selling bank products from various departments to existing and potential clients, including Finance, Asset Servicing, and Treasury and FX services.
  • Actively participating in drafting Service Level Agreements with clients and coordinating with operations for implementation.
  • Acting as a key team player to proactively drive the delivery of excellence in Service Level Agreements.
  • Actively promoting and training clients in the use of our Online Trading and Banking Platforms.
  • Monitoring trading, settlement, and transfer activity on client accounts.
  • Actively monitoring clients’ cash positions for the banks overall liquidity levels.
  • Reviewing clients’ portfolios and pricing at month end.
  • Maintaining and updating client contact details in Citco’s systems.
  • Assisting clients in opening cash and custody accounts and liaising with the KYC team for required documents.
  • Coordinating with system developers and business analysts in providing client support, routine preventative maintenance, and continuing improvements of the business's custom-built and third-party vendor applications.
  • Reporting important client issues weekly/monthly to Senior Management.
  • Facilitating the prompt resolution of complex client issues and highlighting potential issue(s) to the client.
  • Developing and maintaining strong Citco relationships within internal stakeholders.
  • Reviewing and issuing client invoices.
  • Coordinating client transition projects.
  • Scheduling regular client visits.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a fast, deadline-driven environment.
  • Custody experience is an asset.
  • Solid understanding of Financial Markets/Hedge Fund Business.
  • Proven track record of business development and revenue growth through cross-selling financial products (Finance, Asset Servicing, Treasury/FX).
  • Experience drafting and managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with institutional clients.
  • Familiarity with KYC/onboarding processes for cash and custody account opening.
  • Experience with online trading/banking platforms and client training/adoption.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, particularly around SLA terms and cross-selling conversations.
  • Self-starter with strong initiative and ownership mentality — comfortable operating with autonomy.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with willingness to mentor or support junior colleagues.
