About the Role
The International School of San Francisco Conservatory offers after-school 1-1 instrumental/vocal lessons. This role involves providing engaging and challenging music instruction, mentoring students, and fostering a desire to pursue music education.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1-1 lessons that are engaging, challenging, and taught imaginatively, aligning with student learning styles.
- Aim to provide students with great teaching, mentoring, and a desire to pursue music lessons throughout their education and beyond.
- Take attendance and submit hours.
- Follow up with the Conservatory Coordinator in the event of student/teacher absence.
- Follow up on any musical needs with the Music Director.
- Prepare students to perform at least once per year in one of two scheduled conservatory concerts.
- Attend conservatory concerts whenever available to support students and liaise with parents.
Requirements
- Additional consideration will be given to instructors with expertise on multiple instruments.
- Additional consideration will be given to instructors with experience working with elementary age students.
