About the Role
Geode Health is seeking a passionate Mental Health Therapist (LPC-A) in the greater Austin region to diagnose and treat mental health disorders and provide psychotherapy. You will help patients define goals, gain insights through personalized care, and collaborate with healthcare professionals for care coordination and crisis intervention.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat mental health disorders
- Provide psychotherapy across the general spectrum of mental healthcare conditions
- Help people define goals and gain insights through personalized committed care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for care coordination
- Provide crisis intervention if needed
- Create your own work schedule in advance, ensuring full-time hours
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Use an EMR system and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Provide best-in-class psychiatric/therapeutic care using a measurement-based care approach
Requirements
- Active LPC-A in the state of Texas
- At least one year of clinical supervision completed; strongly preferred
- Passion for high quality care
- Experience conducting comprehensive assessments of clients and developing individualized treatment plans
- Proficiency in using an EMR system and ensuring accurate and up to date electronic health records for all patient encounters
- Understanding of mental health disorders and treatment modalities
- Desire and ability to see a general spectrum of mental health conditions
- Desire to grow professionally through clinical supervision and feedback
