About the Role
Coordinate and execute lighting systems for Passion gatherings and events, striving for excellent and inspiring live production experiences. This role is pivotal for the team, requiring initiative, service, and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the execution of lighting/scenic designs by managing the advance process and working with on-site crews.
- Advance lighting/scenic plots, paperwork, engineering, and supporting documents, upholding the design in close collaboration with the Production Designer & Lighting Designer.
- Design and implement robust, industry-leading systems for reliability, flexibility, and cleanliness.
- Manage lighting equipment and inventory, performing repairs and maintenance.
- Operate lighting systems as assigned for Passion gatherings and events.
- Support fellow staff, contractors, and Doorholders to achieve Passion's level of excellence.
- Attend continuing education opportunities in live production.
- Develop skills by regularly attending concerts and other live environments for inspiration.
- Serve at requested Passion gatherings, events, and tours.
Requirements
- Ability to quickly evaluate multiple scenarios to determine the best possible outcome.
- Ability to operate off of limited information to execute a completed plan.
