About the Role
Pawfect Shine is seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our pet grooming team in New York. This on-site role involves interacting with pet owners, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining daily salon organization.
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner.
- Check pets in and out for scheduled grooming appointments.
- Schedule and confirm grooming appointments.
- Receive payments and provide customers with receipts.
- Help maintain an organized and welcoming reception area.
- Assist with basic daily salon organization and customer service tasks.
- Follow company procedures for pet safety, customer service, and salon operations.
Requirements
- Friendly, professional, and dependable personality.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized and able to manage multiple customer requests.
- Comfortable interacting with dogs and their owners.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
