About the Role

This senior People role supports the Global People Lead by owning the people agenda across Corporate Functions and partnering on aspects of the Product & Technology organization. It requires a senior HR operator comfortable with diverse disciplines, bringing expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, strategy, and culture to scale Neko Health.

Responsibilities

  • Own the people agenda across Corporate Functions and partner with the Global People Lead on parts of the Product & Technology organization.
  • Lead workforce planning and organizational design across Legal, Finance, People, and support for parts of the Product & Technology teams.
  • Define role clarity, make resourcing decisions, and provide structural recommendations tailored to each function's stage.
  • Meet each function on its own terms, building where a function is still finding its shape, and optimizing where it's stable.
  • Build genuine partnerships with leaders of each team, calibrating the relationship to their specific needs.
  • Serve as the primary strategic partner across Legal, Finance, People, and some Product & Technology teams.
  • Translate business strategy into people priorities, programs, and operating plans for each function.
  • Coach and challenge leaders on decisions that shape the future organization.
  • Bring sound judgment and discretion to sensitive people matters across all four functions.
  • Partner with leaders to embed Neko's cultural Vitals into daily team operations.
  • Help leaders translate Vitals into practical behaviors and decisions across different functions.
  • Build rituals and feedback loops that keep culture genuinely lived as each function matures.
  • Drive talent management across Corporate Functions and Product & Tech.
  • Partner with the Growth & Engagement team to drive leadership development, performance, and engagement for the leadership population.
  • Advise on compensation, mobility, and promotions in partnership with Reward & Enablement.
  • Ensure internal equity and market competitiveness across different functions.
  • Lead and sponsor change initiatives affecting structure or operating models.
  • Own scope, timeline, stakeholder engagement, and change readiness for change initiatives.
  • Manage employee relations matters, working directly with Legal colleagues and specialist counsel.
  • Resolve issues with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Spot risk early, such as capacity strain or pace outstripping structure.
  • Use workforce and org data to shape decisions ahead of need.
  • Deliver people analytics and actionable insights.
  • Implement data and AI to enhance the people agenda, driving sharper decisions and reducing manual effort.
  • Recognize that Legal, Finance, People, and Product & Technology require different structures, rhythms, and support.
  • Build people practices that fit each function's actual culture and maturity.
  • Turn central People programs into practice suitable for each function.
  • Evaluate how AI informs talent decisions and org design.
  • Design with AI as a genuine participant in shaping roles and structures.

Requirements

  • Deep, hands-on experience across organizational design, workforce planning, people strategy, and culture.
  • 10+ years in senior HR Business Partner, People Partner, or People/HR leadership roles.
  • Experience owning the people agenda across genuinely different functions at Director level or above.
  • Experience owning leadership development and performance calibration outcomes for a senior leadership population.
  • A track record of personally leading change initiatives end to end: scope, timeline, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience helping leaders embed culture and values into team operations.
  • A track record of partnering with and influencing senior functional leaders on complex, high-stakes organizational decisions.
  • Operating with genuine autonomy as an independent decision-maker.
  • Comfort holding functions at very different stages of maturity at once, adapting approach rather than applying one framework to all.

  • Working knowledge of employment law relevant to Neko's HQ locations.
  • Judgement to know when to bring in specialist expertise.
