About the Role
In this paid apprenticeship, you will receive mentorship and training to learn how to perform Advanced Driver Assistance System Calibrations following OE specifications and repair standards. The goal is to transition to a Calibration Technician or On-Site Calibration role within 7 months.
Responsibilities
- Perform Advanced Driver Assistance System Calibrations following OE specifications and repair standards.
- Gain confidence as a calibration technician across a wide range of manufacturers.
- Participate in initial training provided by Protech.
- Utilize a robust virtual support team.
- Engage in continuing education on new vehicle technology.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be eligible for coverage under the company's insurance policy.
- Must pass all pre-employment screenings, including background and MVR checks.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.
Skills
- Ability to perform consistent physical activity including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
- Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks.
- Ability to adapt easily to a fast-paced environment.
