About the Role

The Project Executive provides leadership and oversight for strategic and day-to-day operations in Construction, Project Management, and Project Administration. This role is responsible for maintaining project budgets, timelines, and profitability, and assists in developing organizational policies to achieve goals and support the corporate mission.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational oversight in client management, procedural issues, financial and reporting issues, and workforce planning and analysis.
  • Actively manage the workload, professional development, and client development skills of project management staff.
  • Promote positive customer relations by dealing professionally and fairly with all contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, and instill this philosophy in the project team regarding safety, quality, customer service, and profitability.
  • Initiate, execute, and document quality job start-up meetings.
  • Manage and maintain strategic partnerships with subcontractors and vendors, including verification of timely payment.
  • Perform monthly project reviews to ensure adherence to schedules, quality of work, safety, administration, and profitability.
  • Analyze available and qualified personnel and make specific project assignments.
  • Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with issue resolution.
  • Manage customer relations and change order negotiations.
  • Represent company/project in meetings with clients and subcontractors.
  • Represent the Company at project Senior Management meetings.
  • Schedule, facilitate, and document project close out meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of project management experience, preferably in electrical construction.
  • Knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods.
  • Proven experience mentoring and managing others.
  • Extensive knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary.
  • Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to be self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, vendors, and clients.
  • Must possess the utmost of personal integrity and have the ability to create and lead an organization culture of collaboration.

  • USD $150,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.
