Overland AI is seeking a Brand Designer to build the visual identity of a company defining the future of autonomous ground systems. This role spans brand strategy, visual design, and production across social media, digital and print design, events, and creative initiatives. You will own the visual design of Overland AI's social presence and shape the brand across all touchpoints, working with internal teams and stakeholders to translate complex technology into compelling visuals.

Responsibilities

  • Own the visual design of Overland AI's social presence, creating assets for campaigns, announcements, product updates, events, and recruiting.
  • Build templates and systems for fast, consistent social content production.
  • Adapt designs across platforms, formats, and aspect ratios.
  • Strategically develop templates based on narrative and content sequence.
  • Develop creative ideas and visual directions for brand campaigns.
  • Create clear, engaging, and consistent work across channels.
  • Apply typographic skills and principles to create dynamic layouts.
  • Help improve and maintain brand guidelines and design systems.
  • Design for social media, websites, email, presentations, signage, video, and events.
  • Prepare accurate, production-ready files for print and digital use.
  • Manage color profiles, resolution, bleed, trim, file formats, and export settings.
  • Work with print vendors and fabricators on proofs, materials, finishing, and large-format projects.
  • Partner with copywriters, content strategists, video producers, and internal teams to deliver integrated creative.
  • Work closely with social content teams to keep creative timely and aligned with company priorities.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and agencies on campaign and event deliverables.
  • Create flexible templates that help teams produce high-quality, on-brand work independently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in brand or graphic design.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating concept development, brand, social, digital, print, typography, layout, and campaign work. Please include a portfolio link with your application.
  • Proven experience supporting a company's social media presence through design, ideally in a technology or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong skills in typography, layout, composition, imagery, grids, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to create distinctive social assets for fast-moving content calendars and adapt designs across platforms.
  • Production knowledge: ability to take a design from early concept to polished, accurate final file for print or digital use.
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, as well as presentation tools such as PowerPoint.
  • Ability to explain design decisions clearly, respond to feedback constructively, and collaborate effectively with creative and non-creative teammates.
  • Strong attention to detail, including typography, spacing, file organization, production requirements, and final delivery.
  • Illustration, diagramming, video storyboarding, or motion/animation skills are a plus.
  • Must be willing to travel to company sites as needed (~10%).
  • Employment is contingent on the ability to comply with U.S. export control laws.
