About the Role
IBG North America is seeking a Project Manager to oversee new beauty product launches, ensuring on-time delivery, targeted margins, and adherence to customer quality and timing expectations. This role requires strong project management and product development experience.
Responsibilities
- Organize kick-off meetings with Sales, Quality & NPD management to define the best approach, including approved vendors and risk assessments.
- Source accessory, packaging, and/or formula based on customer brief.
- Source and vet vendors compatible with project and regulatory requirements.
- Negotiate with suppliers to meet IBG target margins and customer target price.
- Prepare costing sheets and monitor target margin.
- Request and compare samples for quality and performance before customer submission.
- Work with Quality/Regulatory team to ensure formula compliance with customer blacklist and country of sale regulations.
- Manage and lead new WON projects to meet expected targets.
- Lead communication between internal and external teams.
- Create, monitor, and communicate timelines/critical paths with internal and external teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science/Cosmetics, Fashion Management, Business/Marketing.
- 3-5 years of experience in a previous project management or product development role.
- Project planning experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience working with fragrance houses, international factories, and vendors is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of Wrike, ClickUp, or other Project Management tools is an asset.
- Previous experience in beauty or personal care is considered an asset.
