About the Role
The Building & Grounds Department in Slingerlands, NY has a full-time, 40-hour Building & Grounds Technician II position available. This role provides essential maintenance including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical services.
Responsibilities
- Provide maintenance including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical.
- Perform essential job functions that include prolonged standing and walking.
- Perform frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the year.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license that meets WWAARC insurability requirements.
- Must have a strong background in at least one of the following areas: plumbing, basic carpentry, painting, basic electrical, building and equipment repair, or grounds maintenance.
- Must be able to regularly lift 50-75 pounds with or without accommodation.
