Responsibilities
- Respond to client calls and emails
- Follow up with clients who are behind on payments
- Manage unpaid accounts
- Initiate legal recovery procedures
- Monitor cases sent for legal proceedings
- Research client information for judgment application
- Conduct follow-ups with automobile insurance for total losses
- Coordinate with impound lots during automobile seizures
- Perform follow-ups on cases sent to the investigation department
Requirements
- Proven experience as a collection agent
- Knowledge of relevant legal requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to negotiate and persuade
- Ability to be polite and compassionate without losing confidence
- Professional knowledge of MS Office and databases
