About the Role

As a core member of our production team, you will be responsible for the proper warehousing of raw materials, supporting recycling and disposal of waste, receiving packaging and ingredients, and reviewing BOMs for accuracy. You will be dedicated to the QCDSM process, adhere to SQF guidelines, and support the production of safe, high-quality products and team member safety. Perry's will support your goals through feedback, education, and continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

Proper warehousing of raw materials to support the manufacturing process
Act in support of the recycling and disposal of corrugated waste and garbage generated through daily production
Be trained to receive packaging and ingredients, as well as production material set up
Review the BOM’s to ensure they are accurate and complete when supporting the manufacturing floor
Be dedicated to the QCDSM process, adhere to SQF guidelines, and support the production of safe, high quality products and team member safety
Support manufacturing needs as required

Requirements

Flexibility of schedule
Able to work some overtime as needed
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Problem solving (analysis and resolution) skills required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
Must be willing to be trained and use the yard tractor as needed
Possess strong mathematical and logic skills
Good housekeeping skills
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
Responsible for following all safety procedures
Must be willing and capable of receiving a forklift license
Computer skills – willing to learn Outlook and CIMPRO
Commitment to living Perry’s “values” required
Willing to learn and adhere to Department specific SQF requirements

Base Pay Rate: $21.74 / hour - $24.13 / hour
Shift Differential: $0.50 / hour
Certified Lift Operator Premium: $0.50 / hour
Heavy Equipment Operator Premium: $0.50 / hour
