About the Role

Allied Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer to play a key role within a high-impact technical services team, leveraging over 34 years of experience delivering top-tier technical and business professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Performs advanced PeopleSoft systems analysis and programming duties in the area of PeopleSoft Benefits and Pension Administration.
  • Conducts extensive data research and creates data mapping rules from PeopleSoft to new systems.
  • Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or enhance existing systems.
  • Performs systems integration.
  • Writes complex programs.
  • Provides technical assistance to programming personnel.
  • Performs highly advanced analysis and development of all client's PeopleSoft applications and modules.
  • Assists ETL developers, testers, business analysts and users in defining data mapping rules and provides estimates for work items.
  • Writes, tests, and debugs complex PeopleSoft programs such as SQR, Application Engine, and PeopleCode.
  • Designs and develops complex PeopleSoft Pages and Components.
  • Utilizes PeopleSoft XML Publisher reporting.
  • Integrates PeopleSoft applications with third-party applications using web services.
  • Prepares detailed analyses, plans, diagrams, and procedures within technical design documents for existing and proposed PeopleSoft applications.
  • Determines the effort involved in implementing new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
  • Suggests technical solutions to enhance business processing efficiency.
  • Demonstrates developed functionality to agency staff and offers advice and guidance during implementation.
  • Attends work regularly in accordance with agency attendance policies.
  • Complies with all applicable agency policies and procedures.
  • Performs on-call or scheduled after-hours work as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must have graduated from a four-year college or university with the last year of major coursework in data processing, computer science, business or a related field.
  • Each year of related experience over the required minimum may be substituted for one year (30 semester hours) of required college credit.
  • Candidates selected for interviews will be subject to a criminal background check.
  • Candidates may be required to pass a drug screening.

  • 3+ years of PeopleSoft development experience with PeopleSoft Benefits Administration and Pension Administration
  • 3+ years of experience using SQL with an Oracle database
  • 3+ years of experience writing SQR programs and PeopleSoft PeopleCode
  • 3+ years of experience doing in-depth data analysis
  • 2+ years of experience with PeopleSoft Application Engine programming
  • 1+ year of PeopleSoft XML Publisher experience
  • Experience with PeopleSoft integration with other PeopleSoft and third-party applications using web services

Education Level

  • Bachelor's degree in data processing, computer science, business or a related field
