About the Role
Signal 1 is seeking a Lead Product Designer to shape our AI management system. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver elegant, intuitive, and delightful user experiences for complex B2B enterprise SaaS products in the healthcare AI sector. This role offers the opportunity to influence product direction and establish best practices in a rapidly evolving field.
Responsibilities
- Deeply understand customer needs and pain points
- Collaborate with engineering, product, customer success, and data science teams from problem to solution to delivery
- Prototype and think through broad user flows for new features
- Generate high-fidelity designs that deliver elegant, intuitive, and delightful experiences
- Create and maintain a scalable design system that allows for rapid iteration
Requirements
- Proven experience as a lead, senior, or only product designer in B2B enterprise SaaS startups
- Demonstrated history designing niche and/or technically complex products
- Ability to understand users' needs and pair that with sufficient technical understanding for sound design decisions and trade-offs
- High agency and resourcefulness to gather necessary information for decisions
- Strong design intuition for making good, fast calls even with incomplete information
- Clarity, succinctness, and precision in design and communication (visual, written, and verbal)
- Ability to present design ideas to internal stakeholders and customers in an understandable manner
- Ability to guide users through complex workflows intuitively, elegantly, and delightfully
- A fast, organized, AI-native way of working, using AI tools daily to speed up the product design process without sacrificing quality
- A high bar for craft, focusing on the user experience and overall product coherence
- Experience designing for complex workflows or tackling hard design problems
- Ability to show work and explain key design decisions and outcomes
