About the Role

The Studio Producer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering all production activity within New Look's in-house studio, overseeing e-commerce shoot production and supporting creative projects. This role ensures efficient management of resources, schedules, talent, and budgets to deliver high-quality content on time. The Studio Producer acts as the operational hub, proactively identifying risks, solving problems, and improving workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the planning, resourcing, and delivery of the e-commerce studio schedule.
  • Manage freelancer and on-set resource requirements, including bookings, confirmations, and absence management.
  • Anticipate and resolve operational challenges to ensure smooth daily studio activity.
  • Manage and respond effectively to last-minute schedule changes and business priorities.
  • Plan resource requirements around intake fluctuations and peak trading periods.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day production and operational queries.
  • Ensure all stakeholders understand priorities, expectations, and delivery requirements.
  • Support the smooth onboarding and experience of models, freelancers, and external partners.
  • Monitor attendance and arrival times, escalating any issues that may impact delivery.
  • Continuously review studio production processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate production risks, ensuring contingency plans are in place.
  • Support the delivery of studio KPIs, SLAs, and productivity targets.
  • Partner with studio teams to reduce operational issues and improve ways of working.
  • Support future platform, technology, and website developments by representing production requirements.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the wider studio strategy and operational objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, agencies, and freelance talent.
  • Develop and manage a diverse, high-quality freelance network.
  • Foster collaborative relationships across studio functions, promoting clear communication and teamwork.
  • Manage and mentor the Studio Production Coordinator and Studio Casting Assistant.
  • Support key business initiatives and projects with the Senior Studio Manager and wider studio leadership team.
  • Support the Senior Studio Manager in managing studio budgets and cost control.
  • Track freelance spend and highlight risks or overspend against budget.
  • Ensure purchase orders, invoices, and budget administration are completed accurately and on time.
  • Support the delivery of agreed cost-per-product targets while maintaining content quality and operational efficiency.
  • Build strong partnerships with Creative and Brand teams to support wider business objectives.
  • Support creative production requirements, including Studio 45 and other brand-led projects.
  • Develop and implement best-practice production processes for creative shoots.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Casting Manager on model bookings, licensing, contracts, and casting activity.
  • Support casting day logistics and production.
  • Produce presentations, reports, and planning materials for Studio leadership.
  • Support the Head of Studio, Senior Studio Manager, and wider leadership team with strategic initiatives and ad hoc projects.
  • Manage supplier compliance requirements, contracts, and mandatory training records.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Studio Producer, Production Coordinator, or similar production role.
  • Experience working within an e-commerce, photography, or content production environment.
  • Strong shoot scheduling, resource planning, and production management experience.
  • Experience managing freelance talent, suppliers, and external partners.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Confidence working with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience of model booking and talent management is desirable.
  • Experience supporting teams and developing junior colleagues.
  • Adaptability, resilience, and a positive, can-do attitude.
