About the Role

Window World of Long Island is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Technician/Field Supervisor to join their team. This role involves performing service work, warranty repairs, adjustments, and troubleshooting for windows, doors, siding, roofing, and other exterior home improvement products to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer homes to perform service, warranty, and repair work on windows, doors, siding, roofing, and related exterior products.
Diagnose and resolve product, installation, and performance-related issues.
Perform adjustments, repairs, replacements, and touch-up work as needed.
Maintain a professional appearance and provide exceptional customer service during every interaction.
Clearly communicate findings, solutions, and recommendations to homeowners.
Document service calls, completed work, and materials used.
Work closely with installation, production, and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in a clean and organized manner.
Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
Participate in ongoing product and technical training.

Requirements

Experience in residential construction, carpentry, window and door installation, siding, roofing, or related trades preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage daily service appointments.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
Comfortable using ladders and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
Basic measuring and math skills.
Willingness to learn and grow with the company.
