About the Role
In this role, you will conceptualize, implement, support, and optimize customer requirements, software architectures, frameworks, or products within the SAP Solution Manager environment. You will work with various technologies including Change and Transport System (gCTS, cCTS, CTS+, cTMS), Business Objects (BOL/GenIL, BOPF, RAP), User Interfaces (SAP WebClient UI, SAP UI5/Fiori, ABAP Webdynpro), interfaces (OData, Webservice, RFC), and ABAP/ABAP OO. You will also take on project management responsibilities for development projects or support consultants in advisory projects. Current focus areas include git-enabled Change and Transport System (gCTS), SAP WebClient UI extensions, and OData interfaces between SAP Solution Manager and Jira + ServiceNow.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, implement, support, and optimize customer requirements, software architectures, frameworks, or products in the SAP Solution Manager environment.
- Work with technologies such as Change and Transport System (gCTS, cCTS, CTS+, cTMS), Business Objects (BOL/GenIL, BOPF, RAP), User Interfaces (SAP WebClient UI, SAP UI5/Fiori, ABAP Webdynpro), and interfaces (OData, Webservice, RFC).
- Utilize ABAP / ABAP OO.
- Undertake project management responsibilities for development projects.
- Support consultants in advisory projects.
- Focus on git-enabled Change and Transport System (gCTS).
- Focus on SAP WebClient UI extensions.
- Focus on OData interfaces between SAP Solution Manager and Jira + ServiceNow.
Requirements
- Approximately 3-5 years of solid knowledge and experience in object-oriented software development in ABAP / ABAP OO.
- Ideally, experience with SAP Solution Manager or SAP CRM.
- Initial exposure to ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), SAP UI5/Fiori, HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), SAP Cloud ALM, and Jira.
- Understanding of topics like SCRUM, DevOps, ITIL, and ALM, particularly the end-to-end processes “Request-to-Deploy (R2D)” and “Detect-to-Correct (D2C)”.
- Independent and self-responsible.
- Enjoys challenging tasks and brilliant solutions.
- Good German and English language skills (written and spoken).
