About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our AI/ML platform team and drive our data science products. You'll own and evolve the machine learning and AI behind our outlet-data product suite, the data platform behind our OOH Location Database, Salesmapp, and related products. This covers both classical ML/NLP enrichment pipelines and modern LLM and AI pipelines. You will collaborate closely with data engineers to take solutions from proof of concept to production.
Responsibilities
- Add value by finding data solutions that fit business problems.
- Own and evolve classical ML/NLP enrichment pipelines and their services.
- Design, build, and run LLM-based components in production.
- Choose the right tool for the problem, weighing accuracy, cost, and latency.
- Define evaluation methods and quality metrics for ML/LLM output.
- Collaborate with data engineers to deploy proof of concepts into production.
- Write production quality code.
- Identify new opportunities in the data lake.
- Collaborate with business and data stakeholders to align requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in the data science setup.
- Foster a collaborative team environment through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
- Hands-on experience bringing LLMs into production, including prompt design, evaluation, and cost/latency tradeoffs.
- Solid experience with embeddings and NLP (semantic similarity, entity matching, text classification).
- Experience with Python (sklearn, numpy, pandas, etc.).
- Experience with Spark, preferably PySpark.
- Knowledge of and experience with machine learning algorithms (clustering, classification, regression).
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services, including model hosting.
- Experience with AI agent frameworks or computer vision is a plus.
- Eager to challenge the status quo and experiment with new tools and methods.

- Ability to communicate in English, verbally and in writing.
