About the Role
AeroSafe Global is seeking a Warehouse, Inventory & Shipping Supervisor to join its team at its Indianapolis, Indiana facility. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills who can oversee warehouse operations, maintain inventory accuracy, and support efficient shipping and logistics processes. The Warehouse, Inventory & Shipping Supervisor is responsible for managing and overseeing all warehouse activities, maintaining accurate and organized inventory, ensuring efficient processes, and maximizing productivity. This includes supervising employees, coordinating logistical processes, ensuring the quality of goods, preparing required documentation, and monitoring inventory transactional accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.
- Investigate physical inventory discrepancies and correct them to ensure alignment between our inventory system and the physical inventory.
- Analyze and perform all proposed inventory adjustments within the system.
- Identify root cause of any inventory discrepancies and communicate the cause to the Inventory Control Manager and other applicable cross-functional members.
- Track and coordinate the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials to operations.
- Communicate inbound shortages and damages immediately to procurement.
- Prepare and execute shipments by communicating with other departments to ensure products are available, prepared, and shipped in a timely manner.
- Monitor cycle count program completion, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Staff, oversee, and participate in quarterly physical inventory process from preparation to reconciliation.
- Review inventory on a consistent basis for expired and obsolete inventory and communicate results to management and supply planning.
- Train employees and other staff on inventory control processes and maintain updated training records.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
Requirements
- 3 to 4 years warehouse management experience preferred
- Experience using ERP or Inventory Control Systems
- Must be able to use computer systems, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Adobe programs.
- Strong analytic skills, ability to problem-solve and design process improvements
- Self-motivated and able to perform with little direction
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing priorities
- Stand for extended periods.
- Use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, or controls, including repetitive motions.
- Communicate effectively by speaking and hearing.
