About the Role
AeroSafe Global is hiring Production Operators for its Indianapolis, Indiana facility. This role is crucial for processing American Aerogel product through refurbishment, ensuring quality at each step in a hands-on production environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform and maintain high quality throughout all phases of assembly.
- Maintain workflow efficiency between phases of assembly.
- Assist other team members as necessary to maintain line efficiency.
- Cross-train between assembly lines and/or workstations.
- Assist in training others.
- Participate in driving improvements by offering suggestions to eliminate waste from work.
- Follow all necessary Quality System procedures and work instructions.
- Follow all environmental, health, and safety rules and regulations.
- Reject non-conforming parts on a daily basis with clear descriptions.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Flexible for all shifts; willing to work overtime and weekends when needed.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Curiosity and interest in learning.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to use tools such as scanners, manual pallet jacks, banding machines, etc.
- Must be extremely trustworthy, flexible, and dependable with a good attendance history.
- Self-motivated and able to perform with little direction.
- Team-player with a “can do” attitude.
- Proficient English (written and verbal).
