About the Role

You'll help deliver Action for Children's exciting challenge events, supporting passionate fundraisers as they take on incredible challenges to raise vital funds for vulnerable children, young people, and families across the UK. This role offers a unique opportunity to play a key part in delivering a growing portfolio of challenge events that generates significant income while creating unforgettable experiences for our supporters.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and steward a large portfolio of challenge event participants.
  • Help participants maximize their fundraising potential.
  • Deliver an exceptional supporter journey from registration through to event day and beyond.
  • Build meaningful relationships with supporters.
  • Provide tailored fundraising advice and encouragement.
  • Create memorable experiences that inspire long-term support.
  • Contribute to the development of our wider challenge events portfolio.
  • Identify opportunities to improve supporter experience, increase fundraising income, and grow participation across a range of events.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the UK.
  • Unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisational ability.
  • Genuine passion for supporter experience.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable building rapport with a wide range of people.
  • Comfortable motivating others to achieve ambitious fundraising targets.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and excited by the opportunity to play a key role in one of Action for Children's most important fundraising growth areas.

  • £25,805.57 per annum
