About the Role

Academy is a full-service, social-first agency focused on connecting brands with their target audiences through strategy, creativity, and cultural insight. This role supports the execution of earned media and creator programs, pitching editors, vetting influencers, tracking deliverables, and reporting results.

Responsibilities

  • Draft client and agency media advisories, pitches, and op eds.
  • Build and maintain targeted media lists.
  • Conduct outreach to media and coordinate interviews.
  • Monitor media for results, new contacts, and story angles.
  • Build and present PR reports.
  • Share real-time coverage updates with internal stakeholders.
  • Track PR hard costs against planned quotes.
  • Manage event invitations and RSVP.
  • Provide onsite support for events.
  • Research and vet creators against defined criteria.
  • Support creator outreach and ongoing communication.
  • Execute gifting and seeding programs, including kit development and shipping.
  • Support paid partnerships by drafting briefs, tailoring contracts, and managing content review.
  • Track creator fees and seeding costs against client estimates.
  • Manage partnership administration, including countersignatures, invoice submission, and tracking agreements.
  • Track live creator content and performance.
  • Compile campaign and creator-level metrics and draft wrap reports.
  • Provide onsite support at shoots and experiential marketing events, including evenings and weekends.
  • Assist in developing and refining partnership templates, trackers, and processes.
  • Utilize AI and automation tools for research, list-building, and reporting.
  • Keep the team informed about industry insights, competitive activity, platform changes, and creator trends.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in PR and/or creator/influencer marketing, agency-side experience preferred (internships count).
  • Experience with both earned and paid media and/or creator partnerships.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, adaptable to professional and creative tones.
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Capacity to receive and implement feedback, and to disagree and commit.
  • Curiosity and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
