About the Role

Real Chemistry is a global health innovation company seeking a Director, Medical Strategy to join their growing team. The Medical Strategy team consists of medical and scientific experts responsible for developing cutting-edge strategies and ensuring excellence in all deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients and teams across one or more Global MedComms accounts, leveraging deep insight and clinical connections related to your therapy area and scientific expertise.
  • Define strategy on new and complex business proposals in collaboration with senior team members.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for clients, utilizing pharmaceutical sector experience.
  • Provide constructive challenge to key senior clients to support strategic decision-making, serving as a soundboard, confidante, and medical business partner.
  • Offer strategic institutional advice to maximize the impact of delivered medical programs.
  • Identify opportunities for AI interventions and direct internal programs related to AI implementation across the global team.
  • Drive business development activities by identifying new clients and engaging with existing ones.
  • Execute leadership in all aspects of the strategy process, from research and analysis to insight and creative brief development.
  • Collaborate with team members to analyze findings, develop insights and implications, and create client presentations with linear, evidence-based stories.
  • Take a lead facilitator role in client meetings and workshops.

Requirements

  • Extensive previous experience in a medical affairs strategy role within a med comms agency, pharmaceutical company, or strategic consultancy.
  • Strong experience and understanding of health, medicine, and the pharma industry, particularly medical affairs.
  • Proven experience building strong client relationships and growing business opportunities.
  • Passion for scientific strategy.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, autonomously, and directly with client teams.
