About the Role

As an Internal Accountant, you are the backbone of our daily financial processes, responsible for ongoing accounting, ensuring clean and timely payment runs, and serving as the central point of contact for our external tax advisors. You will work closely with our Finance Controller, Revenue Operations team, and Head of Finance, significantly contributing to our growing team's solid financial foundation. As an intern in Sustainability Account Management, you will actively support our clients in implementing sustainability projects, contributing to the successful implementation of data-driven and scalable solutions for ESG management.

Responsibilities

Support client projects through data preparation, integration, plausibility checks, and quality assurance of analysis results in the sustainability sector.
Prepare and create internal and external materials such as knowledge documents, blog articles, presentations, and reports.
Manage and develop Service Level 1 and 2 (knowledge base, chatbot support) to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Participate in the further development of our software, particularly in AI-powered data analysis and result validation.
Support the optimization of internal processes and actively contribute to strategic initiatives to achieve company goals.

Requirements

You are studying Business Administration, Economics, Environmental/Sustainability Management, or a comparable field, and your studies include a mandatory internship.
Independent, structured, and proactive work style with a strong sense of responsibility.
Strong team player with a solution-oriented and analytical mindset.
Technical affinity and interest in digital tools, ideally with initial experience in customer support, customer success, or a comparable service-oriented role.
Enthusiasm for sustainability topics and a basic understanding of sustainability standards and reporting frameworks (desirable).
Very good German language skills and fluent English, both written and spoken.
