About the Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic Waiter to join our front-line team at Arcade Tottenham Court Road, a dynamic dining destination with globally inspired kitchens and electrifying service.
Responsibilities
- Opening and closing the restaurant
- Assisting with the development of junior staff members
- Communicating with guests confidently and professionally
- Delivering a consistent and high standard of service
- Delivering top-tier hospitality with a positive vibe
- Taking orders, serving food and drinks, and making menu recommendations
- Keeping things running smoothly in a fast-paced environment
- Working closely with the kitchen and bar teams
- Maintaining and updating cleaning schedules, records, and checklists
- Adhering to all relevant Food Safety and Health & Safety practices and procedures
- Being cross-trained across all areas of the restaurant
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Waiter in a similar fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Passion for food, service, and great guest experiences
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Excellent team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to remain calm, confident, and multitask under pressure
- Warm and approachable demeanor that connects with guests and colleagues
