About the Role
We are looking for a Food Runner to join our front-line team at Arcade Covent Garden, a dynamic venue with a buzzing atmosphere and globally inspired kitchens. This role is crucial for ensuring an excellent guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the Kitchen and Bar to the dining areas
- Communicate with guests in a confident and professional manner
- Maintain & update cleaning schedules, records and checklists
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings
- Adhere to all relevant Food Safety and Health & Safety practices, policies and procedures
- Deliver top-tier hospitality with a positive vibe
- Keep things running smoothly in a fast-paced environment
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams
- Opportunity to be cross trained across all areas of the restaurant
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Food/Bar Runner or similar front of house role
- Experience in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Passion for food, service and guest experiences
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to remain calm, confident and multitask under pressure
- Warm and approachable demeanor that naturally connects with guests and colleagues
