About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on, results-focused qualified accountant to join the financial control team. This role supports the scalable improvement and automation of financial processes while maintaining robust financial controls in a rapidly growing electric vehicle leasing business.
Responsibilities
- Identify and drive new processes to remove repetitive tasks and create efficiencies
- Understand business needs and implement automation with the use of AI as appropriate
- Perform reconciliations and resolve variances promptly
- Month end reporting, including journals and financial analysis
- Tracking and reporting on vehicles purchased on a weekly basis, with business stakeholders
- Work closely with our Finance Operations team to resolve reconciliation issues
- Manage creditor and debtor ledgers and deal with any queries regarding payments or receipts
Requirements
- Experience working in a Finance team
- Experience using accounting software and data tools (Netsuite preferred)
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proactive attitude towards your work
- Experience in a scale-up, high-transaction environment with evolving needs
