Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest levels of customer service to internal partners and external clients.
  • Respond quickly, professionally, and clearly to all internal partners and external customers via all communication avenues.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management, self-motivation, proactive planning, organizational savvy, and attention to detail.
  • Maintain assigned accounts and develop new business for the hotel.
  • Manage all aspects of pre-event, event, and post-event details, including room blocks, meeting space, concessions, group history, and event orders.
  • Attend customer functions as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to forecast group rooms and F&B revenues and maximize released space and rooms to impact hotel revenues.
  • Gain knowledge of hotel's food and beverage products, pricing, presentation, function space, and audio-visual capabilities.
  • Consistently attain sales activity and individual revenue goals, including calls, tours, and appointments.
  • Learn and utilize digital sales systems and conceptual sales processes, and understand hotel sales strategies to achieve goals.
  • Participate in all necessary internal meetings, conference calls, reporting, planning, and training.
  • Work collaboratively with a unified approach, fostering teamwork and embodying an entrepreneurial spirit to make the best decisions for the hotel.
  • Own career development and advocate for training and job opportunities to enhance talents, skills, creativity, and personal/professional growth.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures and carry out reasonable requests from management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in catering sales, hotel convention services, banquet management, hotel sales, or culinary arts (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Guest-focused with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
