About the Role
Join Barnet Council's award-winning Adult Early Intervention Team (AEIT) as an Occupational Therapist. Support residents to maximize independence through strengths-based practice, enabling interventions, manual handling assessments, and adaptation recommendations within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Complete strengths-based Occupational Therapy assessments
- Support residents to maintain independence and wellbeing
- Undertake manual handling and functional assessments
- Recommend equipment, adaptations, and enabling interventions
- Work collaboratively with health and social care professionals
- Contribute to service development and best practice initiatives
- Maintain accurate case records and assessments
Requirements
- HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist
- Adult Social Care or Community OT experience
- Knowledge of manual handling, equipment, and adaptations
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload
