- Preparation of financial statements
- Preparation of journal entries
- General ledger reconciliation
Requirements
- BS Degree in Accounting or Business Administration required with four years of related work experience
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation of financial statements, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation required
- Experience in the not-for-profit field preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting in compliance with GAAP standards, techniques and principles
- Ability to apply knowledge of accounting
- Demonstrated skill in analyzing and interpreting financial data
- Demonstrates accuracy in working with large amounts of data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge and skill with computerized accounting software and Microsoft Excel and Word
- Overall computer competency required
- Must be well organized and self-directed
- Ability to work in a changing environment
- Must be flexible
- Must be able to make decisions while utilizing sound judgment
