About the Role
As a Trainer at DP World, you will deliver engaging training programmes to support workforce onboarding, development, and operational readiness. You will ensure accurate training records, meet compliance requirements, and equip colleagues with necessary knowledge and skills for safe and successful performance.
Responsibilities
- Deliver induction and onboarding training for new employees, agency workers, and contractors.
- Facilitate classroom-based and practical workplace training sessions covering health and safety, company policies, MHE, and operational processes.
- Maintain accurate training records, databases, and documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
- Create, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures and training materials.
- Support colleague development through coaching and guidance in operational environments.
- Collaborate with site leaders and training colleagues to identify training needs and drive continuous improvement.
- Travel between operational locations to deliver training and support business needs.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Experience delivering training, coaching, onboarding, or learning activities in an operational, logistics, manufacturing, or warehousing environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records, databases, and training documentation.
- Experience creating, updating, or working with procedures and documented processes.
- Ability to confidently engage and communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Flexible approach to working across different sites, departments, and operational teams.
- Confidence delivering both classroom-based and practical, floor-based training sessions.
- High levels of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
- A valid driving license and willingness to travel between sites.
