About the Role
As a Tax Assistant / Financial Accountant (w/m/d), you will take on responsible tasks in our financial accounting department, bringing your experience in accounting and tax practice directly into our company. You will be responsible for ongoing accounting processes and contribute to the proper preparation of our financial statements.
Responsibilities
- Booking of current business transactions and processing and coding of bank transactions
- Management and monitoring of payment transactions as well as accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting
- Reconciliation of accounts and processing and clarification of open items
- Participation in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB and coordination with tax advisors
- Preparation of VAT pre-registrations as well as determination and reconciliation of provisions
- Close cooperation with internal departments and regular reporting to the head of the accounting team
- Active participation in the further development and optimization of accounting processes
Requirements
- Completed training as a tax assistant, financial accountant, or a comparable commercial qualification, alternatively a business administration degree with a focus on accounting
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, accounting, or a tax firm
- Experience in the preparation or preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB
- Confident handling of booking current business transactions and account reconciliations
- Good knowledge in the preparation of VAT pre-registrations
- Confident use of DATEV and good Excel skills
