About the Role

Prepare technical drawings, quotations, and cost estimates for aluminium and glass products, supporting projects from initial measurements and design through to production and installation.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate manufacturing and shop drawings, elevations, and cutting lists using AutoCAD and Bizman.
Calculate quantities of glass, aluminium profiles, and hardware, and prepare cost estimates, quotations, tenders, and bills of quantities (BOQs).
Submit drawings and quotations to clients for approval and release approved jobs into production.
Take accurate on-site measurements and liaise with architects, clients, and site managers.
Assist with tracking projects through manufacturing and installation.

Requirements

Certificate or qualification in Draughting and Design at NQF Level 4 or 5.
AutoCAD certification.
2–3 years’ experience in aluminium and glass manufacturing.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bizman.
Strong Excel, estimating, and costing skills.
Knowledge of AAAMSA and SAGGA standards.
