About the Role

The SSTB Relationship Manager is a critical role focused on driving business growth through relationship management with Japanese asset owners and asset managers. Responsibilities include relationship growth, managing commercial and contractual matters, and ensuring clients have access to thought leadership and product expertise. This role shares accountability with client service leads for supporting investment servicing needs and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve revenue targets through product and share of wallet expansion.
  • Pursue self-improvement to deliver enhanced client solutions and collaborate with senior team members for knowledge transfer.
  • Manage service levels and financial metrics for the assigned client base.
  • Analyze and develop solutions with product, finance, and service teams to ensure client satisfaction across all State Street services.
  • Establish and maintain extensive client contact.
  • Serve as an escalation point to resolve business/service issues in collaboration with senior team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the asset servicing industry.
  • Proactiveness, Ownership, Growth mind-set, and Integrity are key success factors.

Skills

  • Japanese/English bilingual (written/verbal)
