About the Role
Nord Anglia Education is recruiting a Finance Systems Implementation Manager to own the end-to-end delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) implementations and system integrations. This role ensures successful deployment of D365 Business Central into new schools, combining functional and technical delivery across multiple concurrent projects. The manager will collaborate with Finance leads, IT, and stakeholders to prioritize and plan D365 BC rollouts.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full implementation lifecycle for multiple concurrent projects, including Impact Analysis, functional configuration, technical build, data migration, testing, and go-live.
- Provide hands-on functional and technical BC expertise, including SQL-based data migration, company configuration, and the development of BC tools and automation.
- Own full project delivery, encompassing planning, project phases, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Act as the primary point of contact for delivery on Finance Systems projects, leading and coordinating technical resources.
- Liaise with dependent integrations (e.g., iSAMS) to ensure coordinated, successful outcomes across all connected systems.
- Deliver solutions in line with Finance business requirements.
- Create and deliver methodologies for running BC implementations and provide insights to improve internal processes.
- Build relationships with school teams, Region, Central, Microsoft Partner, and Local Partners, ensuring involvement in project progress updates.
- Present to relevant stakeholders and create well-structured presentations/documentation.
- Establish and refine best-practice BC implementation standards across projects.
Requirements
- Strong Business Central functional and technical knowledge, including hands-on SQL and data migration.
- Solid finance process understanding.
- Full project lifecycle and multi-project management experience.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for producing reports and presentations.
- Good cross-cultural, interpersonal, and communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills with the passion and drive to demonstrate and quantify success.
- Results-oriented with the ability to consistently map efforts against identified KPIs.
- Excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi-functional tasks.
- High levels of personal integrity.
- Conscientious and able to focus on completing work to a consistently high standard.
