  • Maintain HRIS (Personio) accuracy and generate data for org health metrics.
  • Assist in the selection and shaping of future HR systems.
  • Own the people calendar and processes, collaborating with the European People Ops Partner.
  • Support annual audits with timely and complete responses.
  • Manage People team supplier invoices and payments.
  • Perform light-touch management of WeWork offices in NY and SF, including setting up office access and ensuring smooth collaboration days.

Requirements

  • Motivated by mission-driven work.
  • Practical people ops/HR generalist with strong attention to detail and an improver mindset.
  • Ability to manage payroll and sensitive employee conversations effectively.
  • Confidence to manage all US operations and compliance.
  • Hands-on US people operations experience, including payroll, benefits, and 401(k) administration, ideally across several states and through a PEO like Justworks.
  • Working knowledge of US employment compliance, with multi-state requirements.
  • New York and California experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a start-up or small organization, comfortable with changing priorities and building/improving processes.
  • Sharp eye for detail and systems to prevent errors.
  • Good judgment and communication skills for handling sensitive matters discreetly and fairly.
  • Systems confidence with HR systems, data, and spreadsheets, demonstrating past improvements to people processes.
  • Ownership mentality, ability to work independently, follow through, and escalate appropriately.
