About the Role

Woven by Toyota is contributing to Toyota's once-in-a-century transformation into a mobility company. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to define vehicle-level system requirements.
  • Decompose vehicle-level requirements into software subsystems such as sensors, planner, perception, MAP, and HMI.
  • Manage data-driven requirements, including defining necessary data types and selecting effective data.
  • Design system latency based on scenario analysis.
  • Define product standards, including performance and functional requirements.
  • Report to the manager of the system design team.
  • Adhere to a hybrid work policy with three days per week in the office.

Requirements

  • Possess advanced skills and experience in complex automotive system development.
  • Experience with AD/ADAS systems is preferred.
  • Effectively translate system requirements into software requirements.
  • Design system behavior in collaboration with diverse stakeholders in the AD/ADAS domain.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership to effectively collaborate and coordinate with cross-disciplinary design teams.
  • Ability to consider and manage requirements for data-driven systems.
  • 3+ years of professional experience, preferably in automotive system development.
  • Experience converting user or product-level requirements into architecture and allocating them appropriately.
  • Experience deriving, tracking, and verifying automotive application requirements using the V-model process.
  • Professional experience working in English.
  • Experience using Japanese in a similar role (JLPT N2 or equivalent level).
