About the Role
Serve as the CRES IT APAC Lead, supporting technology initiatives across the APAC region, including Japan. This role involves close collaboration with local and global stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Anchor delivery and support for APAC (including Japan), combining project management, application support, and offshore/vendor coordination.
- Collaborate with Japan and global stakeholders to plan and deliver regional and firm-wide initiatives.
- Manage vendor/offshore coordination, including requirements, delivery, and quality assurance.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and plans.
Requirements
- 10+ years in IT project management with proven delivery of large or multi-region programs.
- Technical fluency across application architectures, integrations, databases, APIs, and cloud/SaaS.
- Hands-on application support experience, including operations, incident/problem management, user support, and SLAs.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management with senior leaders and end users, including clear status reporting.
- Experience operating within corporate governance and security frameworks and controls.
- Native-level Japanese language proficiency.
- Strong business-level English language proficiency.
- Cross-cultural experience.
- Corporate real estate/facilities domain knowledge is desirable.
- Familiarity with related SaaS and processes is desirable.
- Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master) are desirable.
- Experience in multinational or APAC regional teams is desirable.
- Financial services or financial institutions experience is desirable.
