About the Role

Develop engineering, technology, systems, and automation capabilities. Plan and execute high-impact initiatives, including automation projects, to deliver equipment, applications, and facility management solutions across APAC countries.

Responsibilities

Deliver the implementation of equipment and applications, as well as facility management initiatives planned at the regional/global level.
Respond to and resolve issues when they arise.
Plan budgets appropriately and ensure spending is executed as planned.
Provide support to APAC countries outside Japan when requested locally, in collaboration with local team members.
Ensure that all activities and solutions fully comply with applicable compliance requirements.
May serve as the owner of individual solutions.
Vendor Management (System/Engineering service provider (local/overseas))

Requirements

Experience implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various devices in collaboration with business functions.
Experience working in a Quality function.
Experience in the healthcare industry or supply chain field.
Native level Japanese language proficiency.
Business level English proficiency (approximately TOEIC 800; ability to communicate by email and participate in teleconferences in English).
Professional experience using English, including communication with overseas teams and colleagues from other countries.
Understanding of return on investment and the ability to apply ROI thinking to business cases.
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact smoothly in both Japanese and English with global, Asia-Pacific regional, and domestic stakeholders.
A self-starter with a results-oriented mindset.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, the Leadership Team, and the AP Region, and to drive achievement of overall team goals.
Ability to engage team members while promoting and strengthening cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to identify areas for improvement and issues within the company, develop a path forward, assess priorities across the function, and drive resolution.
Ability to provide timely coaching and recognition regarding the achievements and behaviors of junior colleagues and team members.
